RISKTAKER Wheelie and graffiti logo

I was asked to design a hoodie for a friend who bikes. this design will be sold on hoodies in a local bike shop that he's sponsored by.
It started with an image of him riding with one wheel up. he said that he wanted that on the hoodie and to do whatever I wanted to it.
since its going on a t-shirt I thought it would be better if it were a clean and simple design. I decided to do an outline illustration so it can still be detailed without looking too cheesy. he also wanted his helmet gone because he's a bad boy.
I added more detail to make his body proportions look more realistic.
Even though I was going for a simple design I thought this would be too simple. His branding and biking group is called "Risktakers" so I thought some text would go nice. When I asked him what kind of text he wanted he said a graffiti style would look cool. This worked out for me because I used to be a graffiti artist myself, I made a custom graffiti tag in illustrator.
after playing around with different thicknesses and text placements/sizes (and seeing which one my client preferred) we decided on this final design.
I made some mockups to show how the design would be used. I made the design but I was not in charge of making a t-shirt template for the printers to use. So these are not what the final product actually looks like.
